We have a lawn of a large square with shrub borders either side. A fairly large gap in the bottom of the garden and beyond a greenhouse and shed We want to put a meaning to intensification of construction can be main greenhouse patio / garden shed at the end. Maybe somewhere incorporate Arc on the turf, but not sure any ideas? break boring large lawn. We have blue mosaic patio furniture. My husband built a beautiful building style barbecue Med Do What color pots or containers of plants that we patio? If we stick to the blue like the furniture or the use of different colors blue / turquoise or? Everyone other Comments?

I use a lot of white because it is a common colored building in the Mediterranean – in which adds a touch of cool and calm. It otherwise brilliant country blues, as you suggest, are high. Many decorative tiles clear and therefore if you add, that improve the overall impact. Add clay pots to transplant and surveys in general. Flowers and plants, consider the Mediterranean Fan Palm – Chamearops humilis. It is hardy in zones as far north as the UK, after more than one couple of years. Try some delicious too, as Aloe striatula – grows well in my garden in central England. Moreover, some of century plants are large, and will live if given a place housed, Agave americana: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Agave_americana4.jpg They grow around the area too often med cliffs, etc. Add to that some brightly colored flowers, as if seen in the MED Bougainvillea is not very robust, but could be protected during winter. Oleander often found with white, pink and red are common throughout the Mediterranean: http://www.floridata.com/ref/N/nerium.cfm If you can let a tree Olive oil is even better because it will add a touch really interesting (the larger ones can be expensive). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olive Otherwise, a vine would be great, allowing you to admire the bunches of grapes hanging from vines – could be grown in an arch or pergola. I would also add some Mediterranean herbs such as Origanum, which also adds a lot of flowers in bloom, for additional interest. Hope this helps. Good luck! Rob
