Creating a Mediterranean style garden and terrace – Ideas Please?

We want to create a Mediterranean style garden and patio. We a low-walled patio beige, stoneware / color boxes. Garden quite boring at the moment! Need ideas please Inspiring in design and color? We have a lawn of a large square with shrub borders either side. I use a lot of white because it is a common colored building in the Mediterranean – in which adds a touch of cool and calm. It otherwise brilliant country blues, as you suggest, are high. Many decorative tiles clear and therefore if you add, that improve the overall impact. Add clay pots to transplant and surveys in general. Flowers and plants, consider the Mediterranean Fan Palm – Chamearops humilis. It is hardy in zones as far north as the UK, after more than one couple of years.
